Individual Supervision & Consultation

  • Are you seeking support and feedback within the context of a trusting supervisory relationship?

  • Are you looking to strengthen your clinical skills?

  • Are you interested in deepening your understanding and use of psychodynamic theory?

I offer individual supervision and consultation in psychoanalytic and psychodynamic psychotherapy to clinicians and clinicians-in-training. My approach integrates theory and practice, helping you apply psychodynamic concepts in nuanced and clinically useful ways. Together, we’ll work to strengthen your clinical thinking, develop your therapeutic voice, and deepen your capacity to use yourself effectively in the room.

I pay particular attention to the emotional experiences of the therapist in the room, helping you become more attuned to what you’re feeling during sessions and why. Together, we’ll explore how your countertransference can be a valuable tool for understanding the clinical material, while also distinguishing between reactions that are evoked by patients and dynamics in the treatment and those that may be rooted in your own history. We’ll work together to explore the dynamics that unfold in the therapeutic relationship, and how to use these moments to inform and deepen your clinical work.

I understand that clinical work and sometimes supervision itself can stir anxiety and self-doubt, especially for newer clinicians still developing their voice. I bring a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental stance to this work, and I aim to help therapists explore these experiences with curiosity and care, so you can deepen both your clinical insight and effectiveness.

Supervision with me is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in both theory and the emotional realities of the therapeutic relationship. Whether you're early in your training or a seasoned clinician seeking to further develop your practice, my goal is to support your growth while helping you feel more confident, connected, and effective in your work.

Group Supervision & Consultation

  • Are you seeking support and feedback within the context of a group of collegial peers?

  • Are you interested in improving your understanding and use of psychodynamic theory?

  • Are you looking to feel more effective in your clinical work?

My clinical supervision and consultation groups are for clinicians and clinicians-in-training interested in developing their understanding and application of psychodynamic theory. In these groups, participants present cases, which are discussed through the lens of psychoanalytic theories. Assigned readings are used to enrich discussion and understanding, and group process is occasionally used to illuminate important case dynamics that are being replicated in the here-and-now.

The groups are multidisciplinary and are open for Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Social Workers, Mental Health Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, and Licensed Professional Counselors. Graduate students and license-eligible clinicians are also welcome and will be matched in groups according to their level of experience.
