Have you ever left a session thinking, “What just happened?” 

Maybe you felt stuck with a patient, blindsided by an enactment, or unsure how to make sense of what unfolded in the room. If you find yourself wrestling with these moments, and wondering how to apply psychoanalytic thinking more effectively, this consultation group is for you.

This consultation group is for clinicians with foundational exposure to psychoanalytic and psychodynamic theory who are looking to deepen their clinical thinking, sharpen their technique, and explore how to bring theory to life in the room.

What to Expect:

  • Present and discuss cases through a psychoanalytic lens

  • Apply systems thinking and group process to illuminate case dynamics

  • Develop competence with transference, countertransference, and projective identification

  • Explore your internal response as clinical tool

We’ll combine traditional case discussion with an experiential approach, using here-and-now group dynamics to surface and explore unconscious material as it emerges.
